Noreen Young was born in Almonte, Ontario, and is known for producing "Noreen Young Productions" and the infamous television program "Under the Umbrella Tree" (1986). She began the production company in 1976, and still has the puppets and a puppet organization today. When UtUT show was cancelled in 1993, it still aired in re-runs until 1997. Young has plans to either re-air the old shows in 2005, or release DVDs on all the show's seasons in 2005.- Actor

Daniel Alexander Tait is a professional touring musician, songwriter, music coach, actor and MC who has been in the professional business for over 15 years. Dan calls West Kelowna, BC home with his partner and fur baby, and is regularly hosting events, performances and taking his show on the road across Canada.
Dan's acting credits include the Lions Gate & Buzzfeed film "Puppy Love" (2023), Roguescots' thriller "The Founder Effect" (2023), as well as independent films "Pirates: Quest For Snake Island" (2008), "Dead of Winter" (2007), and "Prey For The Beast" (2006). The documentary "The Making of Cariboo & Whiskey" was made for Tait's folk duo Tiger Moon, documenting a week in historic Barkerville, BC recording a folk record called "Cariboo & Whiskey." The documentary was shot, edited and produced by Kelowna, BC filmmaker Chelsea McEvoy.
From 2019 - 2024 Dan wrote and performed with the Nashville-folk quartet Kentucky Eileen and has written parts of & released several singles with the group. The band has performed all over Canada with notable slots at Nest Fest (Kelowna, BC), Mission Folk Festival (Mission, BC), Peace Valley Folk Festival (Hudson's Hope, BC), and many more. Tait also wrote and performed with the BC folk duo Tiger Moon from 2012 - 2019. The duo released two EPs and one full-length record entitled "Cariboo & Whiskey." They toured Canada annually, BC & AB quarterly and appeared in several festival slots including Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Festival (Salmon Arm, BC), Break Out West Festival (Kelowna, BC), Arts Wells (Wells, BC),
Dan has several songwriting credits to his name, including "Stay Tuned," featured in the Lions Gate film "Puppy Love", as well as "Heavenly Song," featured in the 2023 independent film "The Founder Effect." Further credits can be found on his catalog at socan.com.
Dan also MCs for ski & snowboard events. His alias is "Big Chinook," and he MCs Slopestyle, Snowboard Cross, Half pipe, and alpine events with BC Snowboard, Canada Snowboard, and the USASA.- Writer

Ernest Shipman was born on 16 December 1871 in Shipman's Mills [now Almonte], Ontario, Canada. He was a producer, known for The Grub Stake (1923), Cameron of the Royal Mounted (1921) and The Rapids (1922). He was married to Nell Shipman, Roselle Knott and Sarah MacIntosh. He died on 7 August 1931 in New York City, New York, USA.
